DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TRANSFER TO PHUKET (BY AIR 01 HOUR 30 MINUTES). CHECK-IN TO PHUKET HOTEL (D)
DAY 2 – PHI PHI ISLAND TOUR (B, L, D)
Phi Phi Islands are an archipelago of islands nestled between Phuket and Strait of Malacca. Take an exciting speedboat ride to Ko Phi Phi Lee, the 2nd largest island on the Phi Phi belt. A tour to Viking Cave, Pi Leh Bay and Loh Sama Bay will give a further insight into the island. A stop at Maya Bay where the film ‘The Beach’ was shot will add to the experience of the trip. Enjoy a palatable Indian lunch in a surreal sun, sea and sand backdrop. Later, take a dip in water, soak up the sun or indulge in water sports on your own, at Koh Khai Nai Island. Your tour ends with a return speedboat ride from Phi Phi to Phuket and drop-off at your hotel.
DAY 3 – FANTASEA SHOW WITH DINNER (B, D)
FantaSea begins with hotel pickup and a coach transfer to the 140-acre (56-hectare) cultural theme park, which boasts a shopping village and carnival games at an undersea arcade in the entertainment center. When it’s time, your guide escorts you to the Palace of the Elephants Theater to watch an award-winning theatrical production. You’ll be mesmerized by the spellbinding ‘Fantasy of a Kingdom’ as ancient myths are enacted on stage — enhanced by state-of-the-art technology and special effects. Learn about the 999 Asian elephants that protected the legendary Thai kingdom during a spectacular performance, an extravaganza not to be missed! Then head to the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant inside the FantaSea complex. At Asia’s largest buffet restaurant, which seats 4,000 people served by 200 wait staff; you’ll enjoy a sumptuous feast of royal Thai and international dishes for dinner. If you’d like, you can purchase a beverage at one of the six bars (own expense).
DAY 4 – AFTER BREAKFAST, CHECK-OUT FROM PHUKET HOTEL, TRANSFER TO BANGKOK (BY AIR). CHECK-IN TO BANGKOK HOTEL. BANGKOK CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
This is one of the most popular tours, and it gives guests a rich insight into Buddhism, architecture and the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Three of the city’s most dazzling temples are visited including: Wat Traimit, this houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha (5.5 tonnes of precious metal); Wat Pho, this is the oldest temple in Bangkok and houses the Reclining Buddha, a 45-metre-long statue which depicts Buddha entering Nirvana. Wat Pho is also ‘‘Thailand’s first university’’ and houses a wealth of art. It is still an important centre for traditional medicine, such as massage. Wat Trimitr, the Temple of the Golden Buddha – the statue of Buddha is made from solid gold weighting 5.5 tons. It is a fine example of Sukhothai art and was discovered by chance from a layer of stucco during construction of the temple. Drive through China town, Indian town, The Flower Market and the Central business district of Bangkok.
