Rajasthan is famous all over the world for its stunning forts and palaces that have been gloriously standing since decades in this princely state. They are the perfect example of the architectural heritage of Rajasthan. The reminders of rich history of this eternal land are one of the major attractions of the state as well our country. A journey through these masterpieces makes travellers come back here again and again to enjoy the majestic blend of royal past and modern comforts. Built on high hilltops, amidst endless desert and on the islands in lake the monuments vary from each other having their own individual charm and charisma. During your 12 days tour we will also experience hospitality in a royal way with stay in heritage hotels (where ever possible)
Day 01: Arrive Jaipur
Morning arrive Jaipur – Pink City of India and get greeted by our representative who will escort you to hotel. After you get refreshed proceed for visit to City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Museum. Evening relax in hotel. (B)
Day 02: Jaipur to Pushkar
After an early morning breakfast proceed for visit to Jaigarh, Amer and Nahargarh Fort. Stop over at Jalmahal for a photo shoot. Then after drive to Pushkar a holy land famous for cattle fair and the only Bramha Temple in India. Evening visit to Ajmer visiting Dargah.
Day 03: Pushkar to Udaipur
Today you will have a long drive to Udaipur, the land of Ranas’ who have endless number of patriotic stories. En-route visit to Chittorgarh Fort which narrates the story of Johar during the reign of brave Ranas’.
On arrival at Udaipur settle in your room and enjoy the evening overlooking Pichola Lake which glitters in dark with electric lightening.
Day 04: at Udaipur
Founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1568, Udaipur is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola with lush green hills of the Aravalli surroundings, making it the most romantic city of Rajasthan. Proceed for guided sightseeing tour and visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. Enjoy rest of the day on the banks of the Lake Pichola, which shines like a jewel in the crown of the city adding more grace and grandeur to it or optionally take sunset cruise or visit the numerous shops that dot the narrow windings streets of Udaipur. Enjoy your dinner at diner with view of glittering Pichola Lake.
Day 05: Udaipur to Mt Abu
Morning drive to Mt. Abu the only hill station Rajasthan with a cold climate during summers. Visit to Dilwara Temple and other sightseeing places. Evening enjoy the climate with beautiful natural views.
Day 06: Mt Abu to Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. En-route visit to temple at Sirohi, Pali. On arrival receive a royal welcome and settle in your room for a short rest. Relax in your room or get involved into personal activities.
Day 07: at Jodhpur
Morning visit Mehrangarh Fort which stands hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. Then after follows visits to Jaswant Thada – a graceful marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
Rest of the day rest in your hotel or walk past lanes of Jodhpur local markets famous for the traditional jewellery like the bala, gajra, gokhru and bajuband available in plenty in the city market. Jodhpur is also famous for traditional Rajasthani mojri slippers and the colorful hand-printed cotton fabrics.
Evening visit to Guda Bishnoi : The Bishnoi tribal, who have maintained the floral wealth and wildlife in the village, dominantly inhabit the Guda Bishnoi village. Twenty-five kilometers away from Jodhpur, this village is covered with Khejri trees and also offers a close view of the herd of deer.
Day 08: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer golden city of Rajasthan, which utters magic and vibrancy of Thar desert. During your 06 hours journey to Jaisalmer visit to Balsamand Palace, Mandor and Ossian – all ornamented with beautiful architecture and temples.
On arrival settle in your room to rest. As sun is about to set visit to Sonar Quila whose magic of becoming golden in colour and changing as the sun sets behind the dunes. Enjoy your dinner served with Rajasthani delicacies before you go for overnight sleep.
Day 09: at Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is very hot in this season. Start your day early and visit to forts, gardens and lakes which are jewels of Jaisalmer. Evening we drive you to Sam Sand dunes to explore the Thar with camel ride.
Day 10: Jaisalmer to Bikaner
Morning drive to Bikaner which retains the medieval grandeur that permeates the city’s lifestyle and more readily called the camel country. The city of Bikaner boasts the largest Camel Research and breeding farms in world. In 1488 when Rao Bika Ji founded this city he got constructed the beautiful fort which narrates the history and love towards art during Mewar rule. Junagarh, Lalgarh and Gajner Palace are stars to Bikaner.
On way to Bikaner you will also come across temples at Shri Kolayat temple, Kodamdesar, and Karni Mata Mandir – all having different story to narrate about their founders.
Day 11: Bikaner to Jaipur
Morning after exploring Bikaner enjoy rusty Rajasthan, colorful villages and its tribes with 06 hrs long drive to Jaipur. Evening your dinner table is get to bid your farewell with a hope that you will narrate the stories of our land that you collect during the course of your tour.
